Spring Leagues

Our Spring session lasts 8 weeks and begins in mid-March.  We have two separate league formats, one for beginning curlers and another for players with experience.  All games are played on Sunday afternoons and evenings.

Instructional League

This 7 week league is geared toward players who are new to the game or have not played in many years.  The first week is a traditional Learn to Curl session including both classroom instruction and on-ice practice.  Weeks two through five consist of a group drill for the first 15 minutes to practice a skill of the week, followed by a 6-end game.  And finally in week 7, players will complete a full 8-end game, without practice time.

Certified instructors and club volunteers are on the ice during all games to assist with strategy calls and answer questions.  This is a great beginning league to quickly build skills and confidence on the ice!

Players typically register for this league as individuals and the club makes up teams, although you are welcome to register as a team if you have four friends who want to learn and play together.  Limit of 40 players.  Visit the Spring 2014 Instructional League page for more details, including game schedule, league dues, and registration.

Open Leagues

Our spring session usually includes two open leagues, in which teams of any gender combination are welcome to play. Generally, newer teams play in the earlier league and the later league is reserved for teams with more experience, although this is a guideline and is not strictly enforced.

Players can register as full teams or as individuals and we will make up teams. Limit of 10 teams / 40 players.

Visit the Spring 2014 Early League or Spring 2014 Late League pages for more details, including game schedule and league dues.

Winter Leagues

We offer a single draw at 7pm on Sundays for a total of 16 weeks during the months of November through early March.  This is an open league (any combination of male and female players) and is appropriate for teams of all skill levels.

Players can register as full teams or as individuals and we will make up teams. Limit of 10 teams / 40 players.

Registration for Winter 2013-14 is currently closed.  See the Winter 2013-14 page for more details including a detailed game schedule and current standings.
